The authors continue their analysis [Oper. Theory, Adv. Appl. 268, 193--206 (2018; \url{10.1007/978-3-319-75996-8_11 0})] of the space of absolutely continuous functions \(AC(\sigma)\), where \(\sigma\) is a compact subset of the plane. Analogous to classical Gelfand and Kolmogorov type theorems, it is shown that for certain types of sets \(\sigma,\tau\) in this class, if the spaces \(AC(\sigma), AC(\tau)\) are isomorphic as Banach algebras, then the sets \(\sigma, \tau\) are homeomorphic.
