In fact, the subject of this article is not a description of any real carbon nanostructures but a pure mathematical exercise on the topic of spectral properties of the Schrödinger operator on a special kind of graphs. In this sense, a quite self-consistent analysis of the problem defined of the periodic lattice structure generated by the pair of basis vectors \((1/\sqrt{3},0)\), \((0,1/2)\) is presented.
