The paper considers the problem of determining the kernel in the integrodifferential system of dynamical electromagnetoelasticity. The coefficients are assumed to depend only on one spatial variable. Remarkable is the use of a source initiating wave propagation and localized at a point or on the boundary of the spatial domain under consideration. Two inverse problems are considered and the second one is replaced with an equivalent system of integral equations. Then the contraction mapping principle is applied in the space of continuous functions with weighted norms. Hence, the main results are a global unique solvability theorem and a stability estimate for the solution of the second inverse problem.
