Let \(C\) be a subset of a Banach space \(E\) and let \(f: C\times C\rightarrow \mathbb{R} \) be a bi-function. The main aim of the paper is to approximate solutions of the following equilibrium problem (EP): \[ \text{find } p\in C \text{ such that } f(p,y)\geq 0\text{ for all }y\in C. \] To this end, the authors consider a projection algorithm, for which a strong convergence theorem is established in a reflexive, strictly convex, and smooth Banach space such that \(E\) and its dual \(E^*\) have the Kadec-Klee property.
