Let \(R\) be a commutative Noetherian local pro-\(p\) domain of characteristic \(0\). It was conjectured that \(R\)-analytic pro \(p\)-groups are linear, as it occurs in the particular case when \(R\) is the ring of \(p\)-adic integers. In the present paper the conjecture is proved in the particular case of finitely generated \(R\)-standard groups, i.e. groups which are equal to a Cartesian power \((\mathcal M^l)^{(d)}\) as a set (\(\mathcal M\) being the maximal ideal of \(R\)) and where the group operation is given by a formal group law. More precisely it is proved that if \(G\) is a finitely generated \(R\)-standard group, then \(G\) is \(S\)-linear where \(S\) is a commutative Noetherian local pro-\(p\) domain of characteristic \(0\) and the same Krull dimension as \(R\).
