The authors describe for every \(k\) the class of all relevant limit laws of the \(k\)th return times in ergodic dynamical systems. They construct a system, whose all laws from this class are relevant limit laws, even under the assumption of cylindrical neighborhoods. The results of the authors are formulated in terms of weak convergence of distribution functions, which is equivalent to the convergence of the corresponding laws.
