Nonlinear behavior of the parameterized logistic differential systems (Q2383687): Difference between revisions

The authors deal with local stability, Hopf bifurcation and chaos in so-called parameterized logistic differential systems with delay. They first discuss local stability by applying the Halanay inequality. Then, they determine the stability of bifurcating periodic solutions and the direction of Hopf bifurcation by applying the normal form theory and the center manifold theorem. Finally, by numerical examples, they detect interesting nonlinear behavior in the case of single parameter delay.
