Moment inequalities derived from comparing life with its equilibrium form (Q2386143): Difference between revisions

By requiring a random lifetime to be stochastically comparable to its residual life, or to its equilibrium life, or to the residual life of its equilibrium life, the authors derive some moment inequalities that the underlying random lifetime must satisfy. Using these moment inequalities, the authors develop some nonparametric statistical tests for testing several aging properties of the underlying random lifetime.
