Neural dynamics and gradient dynamics were discussed for solving the nonlinear time-varying equation \(f(x,t)=0\). In this paper, the authors extend their previous work into discrete models with potential digital hardware implementations. Both one-step and two-step time discrete models are proposed and connected to the Newton method. Stability and quadratic convergence are established. A few numerical examples are used to illustrate the superior performance of the proposed methods.
