Let \(J\) be the Jacobian variety of a smooth irreducible projective curve over an algebraically closed field. The Fourier-Mukai transform gives an auto-equivalence of the bounded derived category \(D^b(J)\) of quasi-coherent sheaves on \(J\). In this paper, the author extended this result to integral projective curves with planar singularities: Given such a curve, denote by \(\bar J\) the natural compactification of its Jacobian \(J\), the Fourier-Mukai transform from \(D^b(J)\) to \(D^b(\bar J)\) is fully faithful. It can be regarded as a special case of the conjectural Langlands duality for Hitchin fibration of the group \(\mathrm{GL}(n)\).
