By definition, a curve is a \(1\)-dimensional continuum (we presume metrizable). Suppose that \(X=\prod\{X_i\,|\,i\in A\}\) and \(Y=\prod\{Y_i\,|\,i\in B\}\) are products of locally connected curves \(X_i\) and \(Y_i\), and that \(X\) is homeomorphic to \(Y\). The main result of the paper can be stated by saying that there is a bijection \(\varepsilon:A\to B\) such that for each \(i\in A\), \(X_i\) is homeomorphic to \(Y_{\varepsilon(i)}\). Putting this into words, one can say that any product of locally connected curves has the ``decomposition uniqueness property''. It should be mentioned that in [Topology Appl. 173, 276--284 (2014; Zbl 1300.54044)], the present author proved such a theorem for finite products.
