The Davis-Choi-Jensen inequality states that \(f(\Phi(A))\leq \Phi(f(A))\) when \(f\) is a convex function on an interval \(J\), \(\Phi\) is a unital ositive linear map and \(A\) is a self-adjoint operator with spectra in \(J\), see \textit{M. S. Moslehian} et al. [Topol. Algebra Appl. 1, 9--21 (2013; Zbl 1483.47028)]. In this paper, converses of a generalized Jensen's inequality for a continuous field of self-adjoint operators, a unital field of positive linear mappings and real-valued continuous convex functions are studied. Some refined converses are presented by using an improved Mond-Pečarić method. The results are, alas, too complicated to be stated here.
