The authors consider a plane stationary problem of profile flow by a high-speed stream of incompressible Newtonian fluid. A fluid occupies the plane domain \(\Omega=\Omega_1\setminus\Omega_2\) where \(\Omega_1\) is the curvilinear quadrilateral and \(\Omega_2\subset\Omega_1\) is a profile \[ \partial\Omega=\partial\Omega_1\cup\Gamma_w,\quad \partial\Omega_1=\Gamma_i\cup\Gamma_o\cup\Gamma_b\cup\Gamma_t, \] where \(\Gamma_i\) and \(\Gamma_o\) are vertical segments, \(\Gamma_i\) is the inlet, \(\Gamma_2\) is the outlet, \(\Gamma_b\) is the smooth curve bottom line, \(\Gamma_t\) is the top line of the same form, \(\Gamma_w\) is the contour of a profile. The motion of a fluid in \(\Omega\) is described by the Navier-Stokes equations \[ (v\cdot\nabla)v-\nu\Delta v+\nabla p=f,\quad \operatorname{div}v=0,\quad x\in \Omega, \] with boundary conditions \[ \begin{cases} v=g\quad \text{on}\;\Gamma_i,\\ -\nu\frac{\partial v}{\partial n}-pn-\frac{1}{2}(v\cdot n)_- \left( v-\frac{\Phi}{\tau}e_1\right)=h\quad \text{on}\;\Gamma_o, \\ v=0\quad \text{on}\;\Gamma_w,\\ v\left|_{\Gamma_b}\right.=v\left|_{\Gamma_t}\right.,\quad \frac{\partial v}{\partial n}\left|_{\Gamma_b}\right.= \frac{\partial v}{\partial n}\left|_{\Gamma_t}\right.,\quad p\left|_{\Gamma_b}\right.=p\left|_{\Gamma_t}\right.. \end{cases} \] Here \(f\), \(g\), \(h\) are the given functions, \(n\) is the unit outward normal, \(\tau\) is the distance between \(\Gamma_b\) and \(\Gamma_t\), \(e_1\) is the unit vector in the \(x_1\)-direction, \((v\cdot n)_-\) is the negative part of the function \(v\cdot n\), \(\Phi\) is the velocity flux through the line segments \(\Gamma_i\) and \(\Gamma_o\), \[ \Phi=\int\limits_{\Gamma_i}v\cdot n\,dS=\int\limits_{\Gamma_o}v\cdot n\,dS. \] It is proved that the problem has a weak solution for the function of inlet velocity \(g\) arbitrarily large.
