Some properties of Dirac-Nijenhuis manifolds (Q2467646): Difference between revisions

The paper under review is a sequel to the authors' earlier investigation on Dirac-Nijenhuis structures [Rep. Math. Phys. 53, No.~1, 123--142 (2004; Zbl 1051.53068), ibid. 55, No.~2, 179--198 (2005; Zbl 1091.53052)]. The discussion in the present paper concerns submanifolds, reduction theory, fundamental vector fields, and a couple of examples of Dirac-Nijenhuis manifolds. It is noteworthy that the authors carefully compare their work with the papers by \textit{J. F.~Cariñena, J.~Grabowski} and \textit{G.~Marmo} [J. Phys. A, Math. Gen. 37, No.~19, 5189--5202 (2004; Zbl 1058.53022)] and \textit{J.~Clemente-Gallardo} and \textit{J. M.~Nunes da Costa} [J. Phys. A, Math. Gen. 37, No.~29, 7267--7296 (2004; Zbl 1065.53064)].
