The author studies an isotropic penetrative convective Darcy flow in a semi-infinite cylindrical pipe and derives a Saint-Venant's type decay of solution, for particular boundary conditions. Aditionally, an energy estimate is obtained in terms of the eigenvalues of Dirichlet and Neumann problems on the cross-section of the pipe.
