The authors continue their previous work on multilevel augmentation methods and now develop it for solving differential equations. The presented framework covers Galerkin discretizations. A general construction of multiscale orthonormal bases is given on the unit interval, followed by an application of the convergence results to second and fourth order two-point boundary value problems. Numerical experiments are enclosed.
