By using the device of \(l^2\) Betti numbers, the existence of the non-uniqueness phase is proved for the Bernoulli percolation on unimodular transitive locally finite graphs having non-constant harmonic functions. Consequently, a question and a conjecture concerning perolcations on a Cayley graph in an earlier paper by I. Benjamini and R. Lyons are solved. Some progress for random-cluster models is also made.
