The author considers the nonlinear singularly perturbed system of integral-differential equations arising from the study of synaptically coupled neuronal networks given by \[ \begin{aligned}\frac{\partial u}{\partial t} + u + w&=\alpha \int_{\mathbb{R}} K(x-y)H(u(y,t) - \theta)dy +\beta \int_{\mathbb{R}} K(x-y)H(u(y,t)-\theta)dy, \\ \frac{\partial w}{\partial t}&=\varepsilon(u - \gamma w).\end{aligned} \] The main goal is to establish the existence and exponential stability of traveling wave solutions of the case \(\varepsilon = 0\) and \(0 < \varepsilon \ll 1\). Steady-state solutions of some inhomogeneous integral-differential equations are also investigated. Several types of kernel functions are discussed.
