Let \(C_1, \ldots, C_d\) be Mumford curves defined over a finite extension \(k\) of \({\mathbb Q}_p\), and let \(X = C_1 \times \ldots \times C_d\). In this very well written paper, the author proves the following two theorems: (1) The cycle map \(\text{CH}_0(X)/n \rightarrow H^{2d}(X, \mu_n^{\otimes d})\) is injective for any non-zero integer \(n\). (2) The kernel of the canonical map \(\text{CH}_0(X) \rightarrow \text{Hom}(\text{Br}(X),{\mathbb Q}/{\mathbb Z})\) defined by the Brauer-Manin pairing coincides with the maximal divisible subgroup of \(\text{CH}_0(X)\). The proof of these two results uses the \textit{W. Raskind} and \textit{M. Spiess} description of \(\text{CH}_0(X)\) in terms of the Milnor \(K\)-groups \(K(k; J_{j_1}, \dots, J_{j_r})\) associated with the Jacobian varieties \(J_j\) of \(C_j\) [Compos. Math. 121, 1--33 (2000; Zbl 0985.14003)]. \textit{M. Somekawa} conjectured [K-Theory 4, 105--119 (1990; Zbl 0721.14003)] that, for any semi-abelian varieties \(G_1, \dots, G_r\) over \(k\), a certain canonical map from the Milnor group \(K(k; G_1, \dots, G_r)/n\) to Galois cohomology \(H^r(k, G_1[n] \otimes \dots \otimes G_r[n])\) is injective. The main part in the proof of the two results is a proof of this conjecture when \(r=2\) and \(G_1\) and \(G_2\) are the Jacobian varieties of Mumford curves. In the appendix, a proof of this conjecture (due to Michael Spiess) is given when \(r=2\), \(G_1 = {\mathbb G}_m\) and \(G_2\) is the Jacobian variety of any smooth projective geometrically connected curve which admits a \(k\)-rational point.
