Die beiden Riemannschen Grundformen von Integraldarstellungen der hypergeometrischen Funktion \(F(\alpha, \,\beta, \,\gamma, \,z)\) wurden vom Verf. vermittels eines Doppelintegrals (Quart. J. Math. (Oxford Ser.) 8 (1937), 267-277; F.~d.~M. 63\(_{\text{I}}\), 320), von \textit{E. G. C. Poole} für ganzzahliges \(\beta-\alpha\) durch partielle Integration ineinander übergeführt (Quart. J. Math. (Oxford Ser.) 9 (1938), 230-233; F.~d.~M. 64\(_{\text{I}}\), 335). Diese letztere Methode läßt sich unter Verwendung des Begriffs der Differentiation nicht ganzer Ordnung auch auf den allgemeinen Fall übertragen. Im Grunde ist dies wiederum äquivalent mit der Verwendung eines Doppelintegrals.
