The paper deals with the numerical treatment of some nonlinear partial differential equations arising in specific problems of biochemistry. The equations are solved by the well-known Crank-Nicolson procedure of finite differences. The authors give a proof of convergence and examine stability and asymptotic behaviour. A numerical algorithm being accepted to applications in biochemistry is deduced.
