The authors consider a system of nonautonomous delay differential equations with periodic coefficients that model a cellular neural network. Using degree theory and some results on \(M\)-matrices, they find sufficient conditions to ensure the existence of a periodic solution to the system. Then, under some additional assumptions, it is proved that the periodic solution is unique and globally asymptotically stable. For it, an appropriate Lyapunov function is constructed. An example is included to illustrate the main results of the paper.
