Blowing up generalized Kähler 4-manifolds (Q420557): Difference between revisions

A natural direction of research after the introduction of the generalized complex geometry is the search for examples. In a previous paper [J. Topol. 2, No. 4, 840--864 (2009; Zbl 1197.53090)], the authors adapted the blowup construction to a generalized setting and in the present paper they provide a construction of generalized Kähler structures on a blowup of generalized Kähler manifold. More precisely, they prove that a generalized complex structure blow-up at a nondegenerate point carries a degenerate bi-Hermitian structure which could be deformed via a flow construction to a genuine generalized Kähler structure. The paper is an important step in the study of generalized Kähler surfaces.
