In this article, among other things, the authors provide a result for linear \(\mathbb{Z}_{a}\)-Hodge integrals. More explicitly, they obtain a formula for \(H_{g}(\gamma_{+}, \mu)\), the double Hurwitz numbers, involving Hodge integrals. Here \(\gamma_{+}, \mu\) are two partitions of \(d\geq 1\). The proof is based on the virtual localization on the moduli space of stable maps to the stack \(\mathbb{P}^{1}[a]\) (projective line with single stack point of order \(a\) at 0) with \(\mathbb{Z}_{a}\)-structure at \(0\).
