The authors give sufficient conditions for the existence and sufficient conditions for the global exponential stability of the periodic solution for discrete high-order Cohen-Grossberg neural networks with varying delay. The existence of the periodic solution is established using the continuation theorem of coincidence degree theory due to \textit{R. E. Gaines} and \textit{J. L. An example and numerical simulation are given to show the effectiveness of the results.
