In this paper, the authors consider the problem of the derived category of affine space \(\mathbb{A}^n_X\) out of the derived category of \(X\), and they provide an elementary construction by using the formalism of Grothendieck derivators. The main result says that if \(R\) be a ring and \(\mathbb{D} =\mathbb{D}\text{er}(R-\text{Mod})\) denotes derivator extending the derived category of \(R\), then there exists a canonical and natural isomorphism of derivators between \(\mathbb{D}\text{er}(R[T]-\text{Mod})\) and the derivator \(\mathbb{D}^{\underline{\mathbb{N}}}\) obtained by shifting \(\mathbb{D}\text{er}(R-\text{Mod})\) by the loop category \(\underline{\mathbb{N}}\). This also generalizes to the polynomial ring \(R[T_1,\dots, T_n]\).
