The authors are concerned with the hypersingular integral equation formulation for 3D Laplacian on the exterior of an open surface, supplied with Neumann boundary conditions. For this problem they introduce and rigorously analyze a Nitsche-based domain decomposition method. They also underline the main advantages of this method especially over the traditional mortar method.
