Summary: We obtain a new inequality for frames in Hilbert spaces associated with a scalar and a bounded linear operator induced by two Bessel sequences. It turns out that the corresponding results due to \textit{R. Balan} et al. [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 135, No. 4, 1007--1015 (2007; Zbl 1136.42308)] and \textit{P. Găvruţa} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 321, No. 1, 469--478 (2006; Zbl 1119.42011)] can be deduced from our result.
