\textit{J. S. Cánovas} [Dyn. Contin. Discrete Impuls. Syst., Ser. A, Math. Anal. 14, No. 1, 47--54 (2007; Zbl 1109.37015)] presented some formulas for the supremum topological sequence entropy in the case of interval maps. In this paper, the authors extend \textit{J. S. Cánovas}' results to circle maps. Let \(f : \mathbb{S} \rightarrow \mathbb{S}\) be a continuous circle map, where \(\mathbb{S} = \{z\in \mathbb{C} :|z| = 1\}\). The authors introduce sequence entropy pairs and non-separated pairs and study the supremum topological sequence entropy, \(h^{\infty}_{\mathrm{top}}(f)\), for circle maps. Let \(E(f)\) be the closure of the set of eventually periodic points of the continuous circle map \(f\). In this case, it is proved that \(h^{\infty}_{\mathrm{top}}(f)=h^{\infty}_{\mathrm{top}}(f|_{\overline{E(f)}})\) and the following theorem: Theorem. Let \(f : \mathbb{S} \rightarrow \mathbb{S}\) be a continuous circle map and \(h_{\mathrm{top}}(f) = 0\). We have: (1) If deg\((f)= 0\) or deg\((f) = -1\) then \(h^{\infty}_{\mathrm{top}}(f| _{\overline{CR(f)}})= 0\); (2) If deg\((f) =1\) and Fix\((f)=\emptyset\) then \(h^{\infty}_{\mathrm{top}}(f| _{\overline{\Omega(f)}})= 0\). Here CR\((f)\) denotes the set of chain recurrent points of \(f\) and \(\Omega(f)\) denotes the set of nonwandering points of \(f\).
