In describing different dynamical behaviour of a continuous linear operator, there are three interesting notions. They are \textit{power boundedness} (i.e., all orbits are bounded), \textit{mean ergodicity} (i.e., all orbits are Cesàro convergent) and \textit{hypercyclicity} (i.e., there exists a dense orbit). In this paper, the authors characterize when a composition operator \(C_{\varphi}\) on the space \(A(\Omega)\) of all real analytic functions on a real analytic manifold \(\Omega\) is power bounded. They show that, in this setting, \(C_{\varphi}\) is power bounded if and only if it is mean ergodic. In particular, it is equivalent to say that there is a basis of complex neighborhoods \(U\) of \(\Omega\) such that the operator is an endomorphism on the space of holomorphic functions on each \(U\). As a surprising consequence, their results provide a necessary condition for a composition operator to be hypercyclic.
