On Fourier coefficients of modular forms of half integral weight at squarefree integers (Q2272972): Difference between revisions

In the paper under review, the authors show that the Dirichlet series associated to the Fourier coefficients of a half-integral weight Hecke eigenform at squarefree integers extends analytically to a holomorphic function in the half-plane \(\mathfrak{Re} s > \frac{1}{2}\). This exhibits a high fluctuation of the coefficients at squarefree integers and improves a sign-change result in [\textit{Y.-K. Lau} et al., Mathematika 62, No. 3, 866--883 (2016; Zbl 1404.11046)]. The proof is based on classical analytical number theory methods.
