A sequence \((b_ n)\) of positive number is said to be \(\delta\)- quasimonotone, if \(b_ n \to 0\), \(b_ n>0\) ultimately and \(\Delta b_ n \geq -b_ n\), where \((\delta_ n)\) is a sequence of positive numbers. In this paper, using this sequence, the author proves a theorem on \(| C,\alpha |_ k\), \(0<\alpha \leq 1\), summability factors of infinite series. His result generalizes the previous result on \(| C,1 |_ k\) summability factors due to \textit{S. M. Mazhar} [Indian J. Pure Appl. Math. 8, 784-790 (1977; Zbl 0373.42001 and Zbl 0415.42008)].
