Let \({\mathfrak g}\) be a Kac-Moody Lie algebra and let \(U_q\) be the corresponding Drinfel'd-Jimbo quantized enveloping algebra. Kashiwara and Lusztig independently introduced the notion of a global crystal basis (respectively, canonical basis) for \(U_q\) (Grojnowski and Lusztig have shown that these two notions coincide). See \textit{M. Kashiwara} [Duke Math J. 63, 465--516 (1991; Zbl 0739.17005)] and \textit{G. Lusztig} [J. Am. Math. Soc. 3, 447--498 (1990; Zbl 0703.17008)]. The global crystal basis corresponds to a basis of the positive part \(U^+\) of \(U_q\) at \(q=0\), known as the crystal basis of \(U_q\). These bases have very beautiful properties. A basis of \(U^+\) is known as integral if it is a \(\mathbb{Z}\)-basis of the integral lattice of \(U\). In this paper, the author shows that if \(U_q\) has affine type \(A_2^{(2)}\) then it has both an integral basis of PBW-type and an integral crystal basis.
