In this article the authors considers the 2D Boussinesq system with temperature dependent viscosity \(\mu(\theta)\) where the incompressible Navier-Stokes system is coupled to a transport equation convecting the temperature \(\theta\) along the velocity field \(\vec u\) of the fluid. He identifies a blow-up criterion for classical solutions depending only on the norm \(\|\nabla\mu(\theta)\|_{L^q(L^p)}\).
