Let \(G\) be a finite group with a representation in an \(\mathbb F\) space \(V\). In a short but dense paper, the author presents some computational tools for the determination of the Macaulay inverse of the Hilbert ideal of \(G\); that is, the irreducible ideal of \(\mathbb F[V]_G\) generated by the invariant homogeneous forms of positive degree.
