The paper deals with with the problem of explicitly solving the dynamical extension of reflection equations that has been proposed by \textit{Z. Nagy, J. Avan} and \textit{G. Rollet} [Lett. Math. Phys. 67, No. 1, 1--11 (2004; Zbl 1058.81042)], namely \(A_{12} K_{1}(\lambda+h_{2}) B_{12} K_{2}(\lambda+h_{1}) = K_{2}(\lambda+h_{1}) C_{12} K_{1}(\lambda+h_{2}) D_{12}\), where the structure matrices \(A,B,C,D\) satisfy: Yang-Baxter-like equations, \(A_{12}=A^{-1}_{21}\), \(D_{12}=D^{-1}_{21}\), \(C_{12}=B_{21}\), the zero weight conditions \([B_{12},h_{1}]=0\) and \(\left[ D_{12},h_{1}+h_{2}\right] =0\). The authors show that once the structure matrices are taken to be the non-spectral parameter dependent rational ones associated to the rational scalar Ruijsenaars-Schneider model [\textit{S. N. M. Ruijsenaars} and \textit{H. Schneider}, Ann. Phys. 170, 370--405 (1986); Zbl 0608.35071], then all the reflection matrices \(K\) that solve the resulting exchange relation can be generated from four basic sets of reflection matrices solutions (Eqs. (4.1)-(4.4) in the paper) through two possible simple operations. One of the four basic meromorphic structures for \(K\) is equivalent to the reflection matrix in [\textit{G. E. Arutyunov, L. O. Chekhov} and \textit{S. A. Frolov}, Commun. Math. Phys. 192, No. 2, 405--432 (1998; Zbl 0973.81044)], while the other three types are new. Authors also argue on the possibility to further study the dynamical reflection equations considered in the present paper and outline the typical problems that one would encounter when concerned either with the use of spectral parameter dependent structure matrices or with the construction of new sets of structure matrices.
