A two-phase Stefan problem for a parabolic-elliptic governing equation is considered. The boundary condition include various types such as Dirichlet, Neumann and Signorini ones. An example shows that a mushy region will appear because of the presence of a heat source term in the equation. Under some appropriate assumptions, the existence and uniqueness for the solution are established.
