Estimates for solutions to equations of \(p\)-Laplace type in Ahlfors regular NTA-domains (Q2511683): Difference between revisions

The main purpose of the present paper is to establish boundary Harnack inequalities and estimates concerning the boundary behaviour of non-negative solutions for a class of \(p\)-Laplace equations with variable coefficients. The main feature of this paper is the study of this kind of problems in Ahlfors regular NTA-domains. The authors first establish several properties concerning the non-tangential behaviour of the gradient of a solution that vanishes on a portion of the boundary. Next, they obtain boundary Harnack inequalities under the basic hypothesis that the Ahlfors regular NTA-domain can be approximated by Lipschitz graph domains in the Hausdorff distance sense. In this framework, the authors prove the Hölder continuity of the ratio of two solutions which vanish on a portion of the boundary. The concluding section contains several possible extensions of the results established in the present paper.
