Suppose \(d\in\mathbb{N}\), \(d\geq 2\). Let \(\mathcal{S}\) be a \(d\)-dual hyperoval over \(\text{GF}(2)\) with ambient space of dimension \(2d+2\) on which a subgroup of \(\Aut(\mathcal{S})\) acts doubly transitively. Through several lemmas, first the author proves a characterization theorem for these hyperovals. Next, based on this theorem, a classification of the dual hyperovals in question is deduced.
