Linear time-varying singular systems \(E(t)x'=A(t)x+B(t)u\) are treated. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of linear state feedback to eliminate impulsive behavior is derived. The condition obtained is a natural extension of existing linear time-invariant theory.
