The authors computes the \(p\)-adic cohomology of some exponential sums on \({\mathbb{A}}^n\). The exponential sums considered in this paper involve a polynomial \(f\in{\mathbb{F}}_q[x_1,\dots,x_n]\) whose homogeneous component of highest degree defines a projective hypersurface with at worst weighted homogeneous isolated singularities and an additive charecter \(\Psi:{\mathbb{F}}_q\rightarrow{\mathbb{C}}^{\times}\). Sufficient conditions are given for the \(n\)th cohomology to have dimension equal to the Milnor sum \(M_f\). The proof is based on a preprint of the author (math. AG/9909009) (Part II of this series) and on results of \textit{R. García López} [Manuscr. Math. 97, 45-58 (1998; Zbl 0938.11043)]. The paper also contains a nullity theorem about the associated spectral sequence. For Part I, cf. Isr. J. Math. 120, Pt. A, 3-21 (2000; Zbl 1034.11043).
