Magnetic geodesics in Kähler manifolds of nonpositive sectional curvature are studied under the assumption that the magnetic field is collinear to the Kähler form and not stronger than the absolute value of the bound on the sectional. This corresponds to the energy value being above the Mañé critical value. In a previous paper [J. Math. Soc. Japan 64, No. 3, 969--984 (2012; Zbl 1252.53047)] the author showed that in this case the magnetic geodesics have a unique limit point on the ideal boundary of the universal cover. In this note the author gives estimates (Theorem 1) on the distance between the magnetic geodesic and the Riemannian geodesic with the same initial point and limit point on the ideal boundary.
