The paper deals with curves in the four-dimensional (resp. three-dimensional) Euclidean space by taking the skew-field of real quaternions (resp. the subset of all spatial or, said differently, pure real quaternions) as a model for the underlying space. In particular, ``quaternionic Salkowski curves'', ``quaternionic anti-Salkowski curves'' and ``quaternionic similar curves'' are exhibited. Some relationships of these curves with ``quaternionic slant helices'' and ``quaternionic \(B_2\)-slant helices'' are obtained.
