Let \(G\) be an Abelian group and \(A\) and \(B\) finite dimensional \(G\)-graded algebras over a field \(F\). Clearly if \(A\) and \(B\) are isomorphic as \(G\)-graded algebras then they satisfy the same \(G\)-graded identities. Also if \(A\) can be embedded in \(B\) (respecting the grading) then the ideal of graded identities of \(B\) embeds in that of \(A\). It is easy to see that the converse does not hold in general. But assume \(F\) algebraically closed and of characteristic 0. The main result of the paper states that if \(A\) and \(B\) are \(G\)-simple then \(A\) embeds in \(B\) respecting the grading if and only if the ideal of graded identities of \(B\) lies in that of \(A\). Partial generalizations of the above result to the case of semisimple algebras are given as well.
