Nonlinear variational inequalities in elastostatics (Q1119411): Difference between revisions

The paper considers the contact problem of elastic bodies with Coulomb friction, in particular its variational inequality formulation in terms of displacements. Using the perturbation technique refined finite element error estimates are obtained for a class of variational inequalities governing contact problems with friction.
