An ILH Lie group is roughly speaking the inverse limit \(\varprojlim G^r\), where \(G^r\) is a topological group and Hilbert manifold modelled over a Sobolev space of index \(r\). The authors construct a structure of an ILH Lie group on the group of invertible Fourier integral operators on an open manifold by endowing the invertible pseudo-differential operators and the contact transformations on an open manifold of bounded geometry with ILH Lie group structures.
