The author proves that the moduli space of solutions to the \(PU(2)\)-monopole equations is a smooth manifold of the expected dimension for sample generic parameters including the Riemannian metric on the given four-dimensional manifold. As was discussed in some earlier papers, this result may be applied in the frame of \(PU(2)\)-monopole program for proving the equivalence between Donaldson and Seiberg-Witten invariants.
