The author generalizes a result of Mañé-Bochi in dimension 2 to the 3-dimensional setting. More precisely, Mañé and Bochi proved that for a generic conservative surface diffeomorphism, either all its Lyapunov exponents of almost points are zero or it is Anosov. In the present paper, the author shows that for a generic conservative diffeomorphism of a closed connected 3-manifold \(M\), the Oseledets splitting is globally dominated. Moreover, either all Lyapunov exponents vanish almost everywhere, or it is nonuniformly hyperbolic and ergodic.
