A stochastic perturbation of inviscid flows (Q881653): Difference between revisions

The author suggests a presentation of flows of deterministic viscous incompressible fluid with periodic boundary conditions via some special stochastic perturbation and averaging of flows of perfect incompressible fluid. The presentation looks new. Its characteristic feature is that it provides a self-contained local existence of solution in Hölder space. The construction is independent of the value of viscosity, and so the author shows that the limit solution as the viscosity tends to zero, describes the perfect incompressible fluid.
