The paper is devoted to Calderon inverse conductivity problem which consists in determination of an isotropic \(L^\infty\) conductivity coefficient \(\gamma\) on a domain \(\Omega\) in the plane from boundary measurements. These measurements are given by Dirichlet to Neumann map \(\Lambda_\gamma\), defined for a function \(f\) on \(\partial \Omega\) as the Neumann value \(\Lambda_\gamma(f)=\gamma \frac{\partial}{\partial \nu} u\), where \(u\) is the solution of the Dirichlet boundary problem \[ \nabla \cdot (\gamma \nabla u)=0; \qquad u |_{\partial \Omega} =f . \] An important question (specially in applications and in the development of recovery algorithms) is the stability of the inverse problem, that is, the continuity of the inverse map \(\Lambda_{\gamma} \to \gamma\). It is proved in the paper that the Calderon inverse problem in Lipschitz domains is stable in the \(L^2\) sense when the conductivities are uniformly bounded in any fractional Sobolev space \(W^{\alpha, p}\), \(\alpha>0\), \(1<p< \infty\). For dimension \(n>2\) see, for example \textit{G. Alessandrini} [J. Differ. Equations 84, No. 2, 252--272 (1990; Zbl 0778.35109)].
